Champions Online Open Beta This August

Cryptic Studios’ superhero MMO Champions Online is set for a mid-August open beta test, according to fansite Champions Online Daily News. That’s just a few weeks before its planned September 1 launch date.
Closed beta testing for the game has been under way for quite some time now, and Champions Online Daily News — who spent yesterday visiting Cryptic’s Los Gatos, California offices — says that, of the half-a-dozen or so people they interviewed about Champions, all were hard at work addressing issues directly related to beta feedback.
